Health, Mental Health, and Fatigue Policy


At The SmartWash Ltd, we are committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace. We recognize the importance of both physical and mental well-being, and we prioritize preventing workplace fatigue to ensure all employees perform their best while safeguarding their health.


Key Principles:


We comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Working Time Regulations 1998, and Equality Act 2010.


We promote an open environment where employees can discuss health or mental health issues without fear of discrimination.


Fatigue management is a priority, with limits on working hours, required rest periods, and flexible arrangements where necessary.


Key Provisions


Mental Health Support: We provide access to mental health support, including confidential counseling services and mental health first aiders. If you face any mental health challenges, reach out to the HR manager  for assistance.


Fatigue Management: To prevent fatigue, we ensure that your working hours comply with UK regulations. You are entitled to regular breaks, adequate rest periods, and we encourage the reporting of excessive workload or fatigue risks to the HR Manager 


Health and Safety: Your health and safety at work are critical to us. We will conduct regular risk assessments and make adjustments where needed to protect your well-being.


N.b During your first week, you will receive training on managing work-related stress and fatigue, and how to access support services if needed.
