How to Steam Clean a Vehicle's Interior
Supplies: Steam cleaner with appropriate attachments, Microfiber towels,Vacuum cleaner, Interior cleaner for spot treatment.
Steps:
- Remove all personal items and trash.
- Vacuum the interior to remove loose dirt and debris.

- Move the steam cleaner slowly to allow deep penetration. For leather seats, use a lower steam setting and wipe immediately with a microfiber cloth.
For the carpets and floor mats:

- Focus on high-touch areas and crevices.For the windows and mirrors:
- Use the squeegee attachment.
- Follow with a dry microfiber cloth to prevent streaks.
Note key areas to look out for
- High-Touch Points: Steering wheel, door handles, gear shift, and control buttons.
- Stains and Spills: Seats, carpets, and cup holders.
- Ventilation System: Steam around the air vent to kill bacteria and remove dust.
- Under Seats and Hard-to-Reach Areas: Use smaller attachments for thorough cleaning.
After Steam cleaning, ensure all areas are properly dried, either by natural air drying or vehicle fans. Check for any missed spots and re-steam if necessary.
